I can't believe i'm doing this but YES I'M BLOGGING TODAY. :)

It's been ALMOST A YEAR since i blogged and a whole lotta things happened within this year. i would say it's a pretty good year, esp now that it's over.

Secondary 4...let me see...

Oh yes, first up was SYF. Got a silver, blah blah blah. Then it was O levels.

Oh. My. Goodness. O levels. i can't believe it's finally over. anyhow, i did surprisingly well. I got a good raw 16 for my L1R5 and an awesome 12 for my L1R2B2, of which after my bonus CCA points would be a 10. which is extremely eligible for me to get into DMAT. (HAHAH YES.)

if you check back, my post on the 20th January mentioned that DMAT had high standards and i can't believe it's finally happening to me! :D

oh yes i forgot to mention, i AM going to study there for the next three years yay. how i got in was really...awesome.

Well you see, i applied for both JAE and JPSAE. When i got an audition for DMAT for jpsae i was mad nervous and it was a highly sketchy audition. i was all over the place. but they still accepted me through jpsae! :D and what was even more amazing was that they accepted me through jae as well. It means so, so, so much to me that i got in through jpsae rather than jae. i really have to thank God, at this point, for making the seemingly impossible totally possible.

So yes, that's about everything major that's happening to me right now. G'day.

hello, you.

it's been almost a month since i've blogged, & no, my hair apparrently didn't grow back to it's orginial length but it's growing at a crazy speed.

from what i read online, the average person grows like, 0.5 inches a month. but as reference, my mom grows that much in two weeks, which is twice as fast as an average person. & as a daughter with extremely practical genes like that, my hair grows like 2.5 inches a month. that's absurdly & freakishly fast.

having said that, i've decided not to compromise in any way & only wait till it was the length that it was before perming. would probably take me till june. oh &, i've been tying up my hair in a bun (matching it up with my loverly F21 studs) wherever i go cause it's uh-gly now.

as a closure to the three frivalous paragraphs above, i realised i'm obsessed with hair now. like obsessed. my eyes dart straight to another person's hair (like huda & hazel ahhhh) to check if their hair is growing faster than mine, then i look at other people's hair & see if it's long enough to perm. hahahaha. obsession muchh.

well, i just got a new phone & i really love it. it's Nokia Eseries, E71, the extremely business one. love it cause well for

one, not many people have it.
two, i love qwerty keypads. real cool.
three, it has basically every single function a phone needs.
four, it looks real chio. really does. i bought the white one, though. the black one looks uncle-ish.
five, has external memory space.
six, it has a wide screen.
seven, it's real big yet extremely sleek. i love big phones. small phones are so irritating.
eight, it compliments my F21 wallet + iPod classic. pretty muchhh.
nine, it's awesomeeee.
ten, i can't think of ten. but nine's good enough.

oh &, thanks to peiwen & evelyn for putting in so much effort for my birthday card which was exactly three months late. :) i really really appreciate it! it's real real real pretty. except for the part that you drew me with my hair chopped off. :( but the fringe was nice though. hahaha. thanks man. <3

i know not many people actually check back, but hey. i said i will update, so i will.

CNY has been pretty bad, actually. well, firstly, i cut my hair. no wait, i didn't cut my hair & it's not my fault that my hair is so short & not so curly. anyway.

CNY has been good, in the food sense. no i didn't go arnd eating pineapple tarts & egg rolls & what not, but i ate good food, like the buffet from mirama hotel. i'm not so acustomed to taking photos wherever i go, part cause i don't have a proper handphone with a proper camera, for all you guffawing idiots who've seen my very new & very spare phone. moving on.

yea, i ate good buffet food from mirama hotel. funny thing was, we arrived at 2, but the buffet ends at 2.30. srsly, we ate like there was no tomorrow. had to constantly check the time.

example conversation:

me: sis sis sis, what's the time now?!
sis: uh, 2.25.
me: okay, faster go get the desserts!

then the next thing we knew, the table was like a dessert buffet table by itself. no joke.

so the next day, i went out with luwei, supposedly to study but clarke quay was too awesome, & tcc wasn't open anyway. so the incredibly rich luwei decided to treat me to a sumptuous meal(s) at the coffee club (which is my favourite cafe that sells great great great great food. it's like, da bomb. try the garlic prawn pasta, seafood lasange & tomato soup, which is part of soup of the day. try yr luck luh, i'm sure the rest of the soups are nice. don't bother trying the baked rice, though. not that fantastic.), some dessert place (which has awesome caramelized bannana with white chocolate) and then to starbucks where i had a nice mango passion fruit blend & luwei had a high-class ribeana.

yehh i really enjoyed living like a tai tai for one day. hahahaha. thanks man. :D

yeah that's my new hair. *sighs*

if you're planning to cut hair, DO NOT go to the hairdresser at lot 1, it's beside guardian just outside the LRT. the shop's signboard is orange, quite distinctive. help me pass the word, thanks. :)

i just bought only THEPRETTIESTEARINGSIHAVEEVERSEENINMYLIFELIKESRSLYYYYY.

this picture doesn't quite do it justice. the earings are like, a wonderful symphony of ruby red, sapphire blue, turquoise, emerald green & plated with gold. i bought a pretty ruby red butterfly earings & a beautiful peacock-like earing. it's like, long with it's feathers having real pretty colours & plated with gold, you can see it in the picture, the one above 5 pairs of earings from the one i'm holding.

went back to school today, & school was fun. like srsly. first two math periods got burned cause of ihavenoideawhat, two physics periods got burned cause of health check-up, then it was recess, then SS was fun, english was fine, chinese was useless, IP was burned, so was my throat. like srsly, out of nowhere, i lost my voice & it hurts so so much now. :(

so yeh, i guess i'ma gonna like, go recover or smth of some sort. laterr.

had chinese new year celebration today. wheeee.

performed the "ru yan" from "xiao niang re". it turned out to be a huge success, cause it entertained lotsa people, or that's what we've heard so far. bad thing was that i heard that my keyboard can't be heard. wasted. we introduce a new element of strings into performances & poof. :(

but yeh, basically i think we did a not-so-bad job with ysabel, brandon & subhaan. does anyone have pictures or smth?

OHOH. i went to cut my hair, cause i thought my hair looked really really thick & my curls were getting limp & all, so i asked the hairdresser to cut layer then he chopped all my curls off. :(

sigh, anyway i've gotten over it. i've received two compliments about my hair & a million gave me the oh-my-goodness-what-happened face & asked, "why did you cut your hair?!" or "what happened?" or "are you having cancer?" kinda thing.

but oh well, i really have no choice but to live with it. but i'm extra confident that my hair will grow back in one month & it'll will return to it's former glory.

but i need help from you guys, esp those who've seen my hair put down & all: should i curl my hair back to the way it was? pretty please let me know okay.

back to my day. it was really cool, after performance & all, me, brandon, ysabel, subhaan, miah & yunxiang were at the canteen, i had my keyboard & they had guitars & it was really cool, we played some techno, with synth pad as a back-up. then we messed arnd with the drum function in the keyboard & hahahah. it was hilarious. real good stuff.

aft everything, went home & got ready for daphne khoo's concert! yeehh, it was real cool. daphne khoo sings well live. i really like her covers & the stuff that she wrote while she was still in west grand boulevard. she's really really cute & funny & really nice. i loved the way she goes to the high notes, it just sends shivers to people. like, seriously. awesome.

& when i went to the esplanade before the whole concert with patricia, it felt really good. this first two weeks of trying to catch up with sec 4 stuff & all, i felt so at home at the esplanade area. really really good.

anyway, chinese new year's coming hyper soon, big whoop.

i just can't seem to catch the festivity. :(

i don't even get alot of ang paos, & i don't really care how much i get. i'm too lazy to slowly count all my money, too lazy to be excited about it, too lazy to go shopping, even. it's like, whatever i need i have alr. i'm just happy that i get to have more sleep, more time to study & hang out with friends & all...

yehhhhhh. & i've got a cough alr. sucks. bad hair bad voice bad guitar. bad chinese new year.
i'm sorry, i can't help but to be the ultimate pessimist at times.
yeh i know i'm rambling.
& i know you're tired of reading alr, you most probably have skipped all of the above.

hahaha. everyone complained to me when they saw the heading and thought that i would upload america photos in tumblr.

priceless. hahahah.

anyhow, i decided to update my blog again, but ima going to keep it simple. i hate dealing with HTML. anyhow, how nice of you to come back & see an empty space that's about to be updated.

yeh, secondary 4 had just started & i'm feeling the O monster crushing me alr. i'm extremely kanchiong. like really really kanchiong. esp when i found out that my DMAT had such high (like really really high) standards.

but i'm also partly relieved that i dropped my pure sciences to combined science. feels muchmuch better, even though i've haven't quite started. hahah.

ahh. so little time, so much to do.

oh, for those who don't know, i permed my hair. ahaha. it's really cool right now. now i don't need to be afraid of looking like an ah lian when i wear skinnies or leggings.

this is smth like it. brown, long, volumised & beautiful. & dry. :\

okayokay i know it's latee. gotta catch some sleep. tmr's going to be another hectic day. or at least i like to think so.
